Buon Ma Thuot People's Committee stated that it is currently encouraging coffee shops in the city to give customers free coffee for at least 1 day in response to the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2023.

Up to now, Buon Ma Thuot has 282 coffee shops in 19 wards and communes agreed to participate in the program (only 2 communes with a few small-scale coffee shops that have not yet registered).

The city government is contibue to encourage coffee shops to participate in the procedures for announcing the mpbile app for "Promotion of coffee and tourism brands in Buon Me Thuot” and strengthen awareness of organizations and individuals in friendly behavior towards tourists.

Along with that, the city is directing the Economic Department to coordinate with the People's Committees of wards, communes and related units in guiding local coffee shops on formal decoration, bearing the typical cultural identity of the the Central Highlands in general and Buon Ma Thuot city in particular, in order to promote the image of Buon Ma Thuot coffee to domestic and foreign tourists.

Leaders of the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot city stated that at present, Buon Ma Thuot city is speeding up the progress of urban embellishment and sanitation and food safety in preparation for the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2023.

In addition, the city is speeding up the implementation of the pilot project for the Walking Street and public bicycle service, creating a space for culture, cuisine, shopping entertainment and public transport for the best experience of residents and visitors.

Regarding the organization of the Culture and Sports Festival of Ethnic Minorities of 2023 in association with the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2023, Ban Ma Thuot expects to divide into 02 contest clusters, with 10 competitions including: Group 1 in Tong Ju village, EaKao commune, Buon Ma Thuot city; Cluster 2 at Ako Dhong village, Tan Loi ward, Buon Ma Thuot city.
