In accordance to the recent Decision No. 407 issued by the Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee, two exciting new activities will be added to the agenda of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025.

The festival will feature a groundbreaking ceremony for the Commercial Center - Hotel - Residential Complex project at 02 Mai Hac De Street, Buon Ma Thuot City, scheduled for March 11, 2025.

Construction teams are currently working diligently to prepare the site at 02 Mai Hac De Street for this significant ceremony during the festival.

In the afternoon of the same day, March 11, 2025, a groundbreaking ceremony will also be held for the infrastructure investment and development project of the Phu Xuan Industrial Park in Ea Drong Commune, Cu M’gar District.

In addition to these new activities, the provincial authorities have made some adjustments to the festival program, including the cancellation of the Rock Band Festival and the “Overcoming the Wilderness - Buon Don 2025” off-road racing competition due to insufficient funding from social sources.

The 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival will take place from March 9 to 13, 2025, under the theme “Buon Ma Thuot: The Coffee Destination of the World.” In addition to the Opening and Closing ceremonies, Street Festivals, and the International Trade Conference aimed at connecting and elevating Vietnamese coffee, the festival will introduce several new features. These include a digital content creation competition to promote the festival online, the groundbreaking of the Trung Nguyen Legend Energy Coffee Factory, a coffee camp titled “Companionship and Sharing” at the CADA historical-cultural site in Krong Pak District, and a variety of supporting activities.
