The Support Group of the Security-Public Relations-Reception-Administration Sub-committee of the 8^th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2023 met on January 31^st morning to discuss the reception and administrative arrangements for domestic guests and participants. Vice Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot Provincial People’s Committee (PPC), Head of the Sub-committee Vo Van Canh chaired the meeting.

In the meeting, the participants discussed the reception arrangements for domestic and international guests; seating arrangements for participants of the Opening Ceremony, the Closing Ceremony and the Reception Banquet; measures to ensure food safety and on-site security at all tourist destinations and festival venues; reception of sponsor and business representatives; gift preparations; and assignment of roles and tasks among members of the Support Group for reception and administrative arrangements for domestic guests and participants.

Chairing the meeting, Vice Chairman Vo Van Canh underlined that the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival has become an earmark event of Viet Nam’s coffee industry. The Festival has exerted profound impacts and leaves strong positive impressions on the people and both domestic and international tourists. It is also an opportunity for Dak Lak province to promote its image, potential and tourism advantages; attract more investment in the coffee business, the coffee processing industry and other produce sub-industries in the locality. Thus, the Chairman called on all relevant provincial agencies to update the list of international, central-level and provincial-level guests in the Festival to ensure suitable arrangements; closely follow the Plan No. 41/KH-BTC to fulfill the assigned tasks; ensure the province’s courteous and friendly image in the eyes of visitors. He also directed the PPC Office to issue official correspondences and urge relevant provincial agencies to finalize the list of distinguished guests and respective reception plans. The Chairman then assigned suitable personnel in charge of reception and seating arrangements at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies as well as translation for the PPC’s reception banquet for international guests. At the same time, he worked with representatives from hotels in the Buon Ma Thuot City to ensure suitable pricing and quality services for visitors to the Festival; checked the printing and issuance of passes (for the Steering Committee, the Organizing Committee, support staff, news reporters, VIPs, etc.); and facilitated coordination among sub-committees and groups to ensure proper and effective reception.
