Being the first beauty of Vietnam to make Top 5 of Miss Universe Competition, H’Hen Nie has left many good impressions in the hearts of the Vietnamese public as well as international friends. Moreover, H’Hen Nie is known as a strong inspiration in lifestyle and self-effort to young people.

The reporter of Dak Lak Newspaper had a talk with Miss H’Hen Nie, Ambassador of the 7^th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival.

The journey to become Miss Universe Vietnam as well as being in the Top 5 of Miss Universe 2018 is considered as a wonderful journey, what can you share about this?

- H’Hen was born and grew up like other children in the village. My family was not rich, so I had to work hard including housework and farming. In my village, girls often do not get high education and get married early. At the age of 14, H’Hen was forced to getting married, but H’Hen refused and went to Ho chi Minh City for studying with the aim of escaping poverty.

To become Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 and make Top 5 of Miss Universe Competition, H’Hen had to learn and practice a lot. For me, everything is a lesson, and it is a long and hard journey. When named in the final round of Miss Universe Vietnam 2017, H’Hen was really surprised, did not believe that I was successful. When participating in the World Miss Universe Contest, H'Hen also tried hard, studied and improved myself, only with the thought that I was representing Vietnam beauty, so I had to try my best to deserve with trust and expectation of everyone.

And H' Hen thought that miracle can come to anyone if you make best effort, with a confidence and optimistic. I was highly appreciated in the world Miss Universe contest because I always laugh, and am friendly to everyone.

As an energetic and active girl, what will H'Hen do to continue inspiring your own positive energy in the community with the position of Miss Universe Vietnam, especially the young generation in the village?

Despite being Miss Universe Vietnam, H’Hen is still a mischievous girl of Sut M’dung village. Everything around H'Hen Nie is still simple. The glory of success will not make me forget my fellow citizens and village. Therefore, H’Hen always tells everyone about my village, my mother’s dishes, and traditional festivals, etc. with pride. It is possible that my simplicity and sincerity made a miracle - touching the hearts of international friends. I also want to use my own story to inspire everyone, especially the young people in the villages. I hope that I will inspire the young people with my positive lifestyle as well as effort to improve myself as I tried with my all enthusiasm and achieved the success. If you love H’Hen, accompany with me to perfect ourselves, to reach the better things. I can do it, you also can do it.

It is difficult to express my happiness and pride when my dream as the "Communication Ambassador of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival" comes true. As a child of coffee farmer in the Central Highlands, H'Hen always wanted to contribute to widely promote coffee images as well as everything related to Buon Ma Thuot - Dak Lak - the land of coffee to all people across the country and around the world.Can you share your feeling with the readers when you were selected as the Communication Ambassador of the 7^th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival? With the role as a communication ambassador, what are your specific plan and actions to contribute to promoting the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Brand, as well as the unique culture of people in the Central Highlands?

With my role as the Communication Ambassador of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, H’Hen will accompany on the Festival's activities to contribute to promoting the Festival as well as spreading the local image. In addition, H'Hen will also use online communication channels such as social networks, youtube ... to convey coffee images, special cultural features of the Coffee Festival and Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Brand to widely disseminate in the community and attract visitors' attention. At the same time, H’Hen will make every effort to play a good role in connecting with international friends, contributing to building the image of Buon Ma Thuot, the coffee city, to become a destination of the world’s coffee.
