On March 3, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism cooperated with Nha Trang University to organize one training course on guest reception and serving skills for staff serving in the 7^th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, 2019 and popularizing the content, activities of the Festival.

The event saw the participation of nearly 300 attendants who are officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the provincial departments, agencies, unions and related units; People's Committees of districts and towns in the province and volunteers participating in the festival.

Overview of the training course

The attendants have been equipped the reception and professional skills to serve the Festival such as: monitoring and capturing information of tourists; assigning officials and employees to support guests and introduce them the food, vacation and travel reasonably; accompanying them closely, capturing information before, during and after the Festival, etc.

In addition, the Organizing Committee of the training course also disseminated the main content and activities of the Festival. Accordingly, the 7^th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2019 under the theme "The Quintessence of Jungle" will take place from March 9 - 16, 2019 in Buon Ma Thuot City with 17 major activities, including: Opening and Closing Ceremony; fairs and exhibitions (Coffee specialized expo; Exhibition of the world coffee history; Photo exhibition "44 years of Buon Ma Thuot Victory – Paths of History"); promotion and honor activities (Street Festival; Farmers’ Competition; Competition of Vietnam Special Coffee, 2019; Opening of Coffee Book Street; Enjoying free coffee); tourism journey (Buon Don Elephant Race; performance of traditional rituals and festivals of local ethnic minorities in the province; Competition of Central Highlands Cuisine; Festival in Lak district)

The event aims to equip attendants with knowledge and skills to receive and serve delegates and tourists during the 7^th Coffee Festival in Buon Ma Thuot in 2019; ensuring consistency in the propaganda and introduction content to domestic and foreign tourists to the province during the Festival.
