The Provincial People’s Committee of Dak Lak recently instructed the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to prepare and grant an interview to VietNam Pictorial on the development strategy of the coffee industry of the province. As such, the Provincial People’s Committee has assigned the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to take the lead and coordinate with the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other concerned departments and unites to introduce to VietNam Pictorial journalists, a number of exemplary models in the province on growing, producing, processing coffee and on the culture and tourism as well as economic development models in the province.

To facilitate the work of VietNam Pictorial journalists while covering the activities in the 8^th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2023, the Provincial People’s Committee entrusted the Provincial Department of Information and Communication to compile a list of VietNam Pictorial journalists assigned to report on the Festival and issue ID cards to them.

Prior to that VietNam Pictorial already sent a note to Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee requesting for assistance in producing a special cover story (10 pages on print and electronic newspapers) in order to introduce, promote the Buon Me Thuot coffee brand in particular and the potential of Viet Nam’s coffee industry in the world in general. At the same time, VietNam Pictorial will also cover other subjects to present the cultural, tourist and economic potentials of Dak Lak Province.

The aforesaid points are among the tasks that VietNam Pictorials defined with a view to carrying out the guidance on stepping up the external information work to implement the Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW of the Party Political Bureau regarding the orientations for the socio-economic development and the security and defense work in the Central Highlands to the year 2030 with the vision to the year 2045 as well as the Program of Action of the Government to realize the Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW of the Party Political Bureau on the occasion of the 8^th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2023./.
