On 03 February, the Organizing Committee of the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Video Contest adopted the decision to acknowledge the results and prizes of this contest. Accordingly, Tran Anh Dat, with the video titled “Hometown", won the first prize of 300 million VND. Tran Xuan Quoc Trung, with the video titled “The perfect bitter taste”, won the second prize of 100 million VND. The video titled “The breath of Ban Me coffee” by HOTHA STUDIO came in third place, with a prize of 50 million VND. The Organizing Committee also presented three incentive prizes, each worth 20 million VND, to the videos titled “The story of my village’s coffee” by Buon Kao group, “The tale of Buon Ma Thuot’s coffee” by Nguyen Quoc Hung and To Binh Minh, and “Buon Ma Thuot - The world’s coffee destination” by Nguyen Trong Thinh and Le Trinh Thanh Ngoc.
The Organizing Committee also presented an audience choice award worth 20 million VND to Tran Xuan Quoc Trung, with the video titled “From the farms to a cup of coffee”.

According to the information provided by the Organizing Committee, the video contest to introduce Buon Ma Thuot’s coffee was launched in September 2022, with the duration for submission ending on 30 December 2022. By the submission deadline, the Organizing Committee received 21 videos by 19 producers, including both individual and group submissions, from within and outside the province.
From 04 to 06 January 2023, the Organizing Committee and the Secretariat of the contest gathered at the Department of Information and Communications of Dak Lak Province to review and rate these videos. According to the Organizing Committee, the contest managed to harness the creativity of organizations, agencies, individuals and groups of artists in promoting Buon Ma Thuot’s coffee. The contest also served to honor the passion and pride in Dak Lak Province and its rich identity, and uphold the need to preserve and promote historical and cultural values among the people of the province.

The Department of Information and Communications of Dak Lak Province is currently consulting with the Organizing Committee of the contest and that of the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2023 to organize an awards ceremony for the contest on 17 February.
This is also one of the official events of the 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2023.
