On the occasion of the 7^th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2019, the two provinces will have an art performance exchange program under the theme of "Friendship Melody" to tighten the solidarity, cooperation and friendship between Jeollabuk-do and Dak Lak province.

Jeollabuk-do and Dak Lak province share many similarities in natural conditions and folk culture. Therefore, the viewers will feel the friendliness and hospitality of artists at the exchange program. At the event, the viewers will have an opportunity to enjoy many unique traditional art performances of Korea and Dak Lak. Especially, Arirang folk song, which is the traditional art performance, will be performed to serve the viewers.

In Korea, each region has its own unique Arirang folk song, especially it can be sung randomly according to singers’ feelings. It plays an important role in forming the community and characteristics of the Korean community. Experts said that Korea has about 60 types of Arirang and 3,600 types of variation and all Korean people can sing it. At the exchange program, Vietnamese and international visitors will enjoy this folk song.

 The program will help strengthen exchanges, friendliness and cooperation, as well as create conditions for participants to have an understanding of the culture, especially the traditional art of Dak Lak in particular and Vietnam in general.
