The People’s Committee of Dak Lak Province has reached out to provinces and cities across Viet Nam, requesting support for live television broadcasts of activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Buon Ma Thuot Victory, the liberation of Dak Lak Province, and the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025.

To mark the significant occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Buon Ma Thuot Victory and the liberation of Dak Lak Province (March 10, 1975 - March 10, 2025), Dak Lak will host a series of commemorative events and the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival from March 9 to March 13, 2025. The festival will carry the theme “Buon Ma Thuot - The Coffee Destination of the World.”

This event serves as an opportunity to widely promote the historical significance and value of the Buon Ma Thuot Victory and the liberation of Dak Lak Province. It will highlight the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the spirit of unity among the military and diverse ethnic groups in Dak Lak Province, which were crucial in achieving the Buon Ma Thuot Victory and liberating the province. This victory played a significant role in the historic Spring Victory of 1975, which included the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, leading to the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.

Additionally, the festival will allow Dak Lak Province to promote and showcase Vietnamese coffee products, particularly Buon Ma Thuot coffee, along with the province’s image, potential, and development advantages to the public, business communities, and both domestic and international investors.

Dak Lak Province is requesting that localities assist in broadcasting live the street festival as part of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025.

To effectively introduce, promote, and disseminate the activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Buon Ma Thuot Victory and the liberation of Dak Lak Province, as well as the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival to a nationwide audience, the People’s Committee of Dak Lak Province asks the People’s Committees of provinces and cities to direct their radio and television stations to support live broadcasts of the Ceremony Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Buon Ma Thuot Victory on March 10, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM., Street Festival Program Welcoming the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival on March 10, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, the Opening Ceremony of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival on March 10, 2025, from 8:10 PM to 9:30 PM and the Closing Ceremony of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival on March 13, 2025, from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
